What is BitTorrent and How do I use it?

BitTorrent is a peer-to-peer file sharing protocol used for distributing large amounts of data. BitTorrent is one of the most common protocols for transferring large files, and by Ipoque[1] estimates it accounted for approximately 27-55% of all Internet traffic depending on geographical location as of February 2009.[2]

RSS and beyond: What is it? How can You Use it? Hint: Listen

The key take away is that RSS is like tivo for the internet, with RSS the content you want is easily available when and where you want it. Having a good set of RSS feeds for a topic/community is the first step to actually engaging with the people in that online community, that step is being able to listen!
